Before I begin with the rules, I just want to say that we do not think that Autism is a horrible thing. We have a son with Autism and think that he is such a wonderful blessing. We wouldn't want to change him. Unfortunately, he is more towards the severe side and is not able to talk or communicate properly. We are afraid of what will happen to him if we die. We would be more at ease if he would be able to have an independent life. We love our son dearly, he is an angel sent from Heaven. We do not want Autism cured for our own selfish reasons, we want it cured because he will eventually be a man and we want him to have the life he deserves to have. Thank you.
Here are some very simple rules that I expect everyone to follow. I want this to be a place that we will all enjoy.
1. Flaming others will not be tolerated...PERIOD. We are here to exchange information & share common interests...not to flame others. If you come here with a chip on your shoulder, I will knock it off and then show you the door.
2. Spamming our forums in any way will result in an immediate & permanent ban. Spamming includes (but is not limited to); advertising web sites for monetary gain, advertising web sites that are off-topic, advertising web sites in order to populate it with our members, and repeating the same post/reply multiple times.
3. Posting images of and/or links to any form of X-rated or sexually explicit material (including sigs & avatars) will result in an immediate & permanent ban.
4. Only Administrators, Moderators, & VIP Members may have links in their sigs & user profiles...period. Any member that does not fall into these 3 groups and has link in their sig and/or profile leading outside of this web site will be asked to remove them immediately. If they refuse, an admin will delete the link. If the member then restores the link, that member will be banned indefinitely.
5. Any foul language will not be tolerated. We are all from different backgrounds and we do not want to offend someone else, even if it may be unintentional.
6. All posts should be made in the appropriate forums. However, if there is a new forum or sub-forum that you would like to see added, feel free to contact an admin.
7. If you have a problem with another member of this forum, feel free to contact a mod or admin. The mods & admins will help in any way they can. Do NOT wage your war in our forums.
8. Most importantly; have fun, learn some great information, give some great information and meet new people in the same situation. If you have any questions, never be afraid to ask.
